Vtuber applications

This is only for 2D VTubers or PNGTubers. For 3D Vtubers, you can directly import your 3D model into your mtion clubhouse.

2D Vtuber avatar model is essentially a Display Element. You can place your avatar in your clubhouse by selecting the Vtube Feed or Connected Camera in the input object type section in the Inspector Panel.

Before your avatar can properly load into your mtion clubhouse, ensure that the VTubing software you use for your avatar is set up correctly so that mtion can pick up its feed.

Setting up Vtube Studio with mtion

To do this in Vtube Studio, go to the Camera settings, and enable Virtual Camera. If the virtual camera driver is not installed, install it in Vtube Studio. Once the virtual camera is enabled, mtion studio will be able to pick up the source and load in your avatar feed.

Note: Vtube Studio removed the transparency option for their virtual camera. The alternative option to bring your avatar into mtion (only if you are using Vtube Studio) without the black background would be to use NDI with Vtube Studio and sending the NDI feed to mtion studio. We added transparency support to all NDI inputs. Now when streaming content from applications that support it, the alpha channel in the video will be used to render parts of the display invisible inside mtion studio.

Setting up VSeeface with mtion

To do this in VSeeFace, go to the settings, and enable Virtual Camera. If the virtual camera driver is not installed, install it in VSeeFace. Once the virtual camera is enabled, mtion studio will be able to pick up the source and load in your avatar feed.

Note: You need to upload a transparent background image in VSeeface; otherwise, when you load your avatar in mtion, they will have the VSeeFace background behind them. You can find the default transparent image in VSeeface's folder.
